8th Birthday is over, and here are the winners! Full list is in the Excel spreadsheet And.. The MOST IMPORTANT PART! Attachment: Screenshot 2019-04-28_16-40-05-564.gif Original Header info: - Spoiler: show
- To celebrate the 8th birthday of WaGuns, we've decided to do something just a little different than we normally do . . . .
We're still going to give away some cool shit, but along the way we want to raise money for those organizations that fight the good fight to save our Second Amendment rights in this country. As we all know, our rights are constantly under attack, and the support of people like us is needed to beat back those who would ignore the Constitution.
So first, let's talk about the prizes!
Item #1 ($1,010 value, donated by WaGuns and Killer Innovations) - WINNER MR. Q. - Spoiler: show
- We're going local! Want to build the coolest Glock 19 clone in town? Well, the folks at Killer Innovations (right in Tumwater, WA!) are going to help make that happen!
This is a package of Gen 3 compatible Glock 19 parts that includes: - Killer Innovations Velocity slide, in gray - Killer Innovations threaded barrel with thread protector, in TiN/gold - Killer Innovations compensator, in black nickel teflon - Killer Innovations Velocity trigger, in gold - Killer Innovations Velocity Magwell, in gray - Two Killer Innovations Velocity base pads, in gray
You'll still need to provide a Gen 3 compatible Glock 19-style frame (Glock, Polymer80, etc.) and the remaining parts, but once you get it all put together you'll have badasseriest handgun around!
The final product will look something like this, except with a gold trigger:
Item #2 ($1,200 value, donated by WaGuns) - WINNER CMPattison!!! - Spoiler: show
- Ah, the classic Springfield M1A rifle . . . but spiced up a little!
This is the "Kryptek Highlander" version of the M1A. It's chambered in .308 Winchester, of course, and it comes with a 16" barrel and a 10-round magazine. If you can't stop it with this . . . you can't stop it.
Item #3 ($25,000 value, donated by beckdw) - WINNER new daddy - Spoiler: show
- This generous donation by beckdw is a Front Site Commander Level membership.

https://www.frontsight.com/commander-membership.asp
More info: [spoiler]First, the resort is NOT built so until it is you have to stay on your dime at a hotel unless you are traveling down there with a camper. Second, the marketing is what I can only describe as a pyramid scheme, so there are a lot of emails pushing you to build Front Sight credits, upgrade your membership, etc. Feel free to send it to your junk inbox. Third, there is an annual $50 background check if you want to attend a course in that year.
Lastly, whoever wins this must set up an account with Front Sight and send me their username in order for me to transfer the membership to them.

How to enter, Rules etc. - Spoiler: show
- So . . . what's the deal? How do we win?
Simply reply "in" (or similar reply) to this thread.
That's not good enough! How do I increase my chances of winning?
1) Donate money to (or join) an approved* (see below) pro-2A organization. 2) Send us proof of the donation; you can post it in this thread, email it to webmaster@waguns.org, or otherwise get it to MadPick or Massivedesign. Only donations made after the posting of this thread are eligible. 3) Post in this thread how much you donated and to whom. 4) For every $10 that you donate, you will receive one additional entry.
We will hold a drawing at the end; the first name drawn will get first choice of the prizes, the second name drawn will get second choice, etc.
More rules and fine print: - WaGuns Site Supporters are eligible to win all prizes. Non-supporters are eligible to win all prizes except Item #1 and Item #2. You may become a Site Supporter by visiting our Donate page.
- The winner of any firearms will need to complete a transfer at an FFL. WaGuns will pay for the transfer of the M1A.
- If the winner does not live in the Puget Sound area and a local meet cannot be arranged, WaGuns will ship any WaGuns-donated prize to the winner, or to an FFL if the prize is a firearm. The winner will be responsible for any transfer fees, taxes, etc.
- The winner of any firearm needs to pay $1 for the firearm. You are entering a raffle to win a chance to buy that firearm for $1.
- Each entry is completely separate from all other entries. If a winner appears multiple times on the winners list, then that person wins a separate prize for each entry on the list.
- This contest is open to all WaGuns members, including moderators and administrators.
This giveaway will end on Sunday, April 28th. The first winner will have their choice of prizes, then the second will get their choice, and so on until there are no prizes remaining.
We may modify this event to add additional items, clarify or modify the rules, or extend the time if warranted.
*So, what is an approved pro-2A organization?
Donations to the following organizations will qualify:
Gun Owners of America (GOA) National Rifle Association (NRA) The Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (CCRKBA) Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership (JPFO) US2A
Is your favorite pro-2A group not listed above? Send MadPick and Massivedesign a PM and ask us, and if we approve then we'll add it to the list above. We're not trying to play favorites here, which is why we're opening it up to multiple groups; we just want to make sure that all of the money goes to groups that are fighting for our rights.
Thank you for being a part of WaGuns, and for being a part of the solution!

Entries: The list has gotten too long for screenshots, please use the link below. You will see that some people have a +.5 entry, because they donated an additional $5. This will be rounded DOWN when it comes to the drawing since each bonus entry is $10. And the whole damn spreadsheet, if you want to see it: https://www.google.com/url?q=https://1d ... RUhtnJhicQ
