Well, it became apparent today that even old dogs like zombie66 need to learn a few tricks , so I thought it might be interesting to start a thread where we can teach each other little tricks that make it just a little easier to use the forum.

I'll start off with a couple:

1) Use "view unread posts," which is in the upper right corner of the full site (computer). On the mobile (phone) site, tap the magnifying glass in the upper right corner and then "view unread posts." This will give you a listing of all threads that you haven't read, regardless of which sub-forum they're in. This way you don't need to browse one sub-forum at a time.

2) I'm not much of a Tapatalk fan, but Tapatalk makes posting photos from your phone REALLY easy. Now of course, you don't always want to type out a whole post from your phone, so here's one way around that:
- While you're out and about, snap the photo with your phone. Go into Tapatalk and send yourself a PM with the photo; Tapatalk will automatically upload the photo and create the correct "IMG" link.
- Once you get onto your computer, read your PM. Click "Quote." You'll then see the link for the photo; "copy" it. Then, go create your post and "paste" the photo link into it.

If you are inundated with new posts and the forum looks like a giant sea of red, unread topics, go to the home page and hit "mark all forums read".

Sorry he only donates so he can sell on TOS..

Or maybe you could donate less to the candy aisle and more to the dental floss aisle.........Just saying.

Heres one. So after you have finished reading the unread post and did all your posting of the day, to get out of the forum, simply go to the X in the top Right hand corner(for Windows) or the Red button or X(Mac book), and click it. This will exit the browser and bring you back to your desktop.

Is there a Member who really annoys you? You can mark them as a FOE and all their posts will be minimized so you don't have to read what they said.

Go into the User Control Panel, on the left hand side go to Friends and Foes. Click on Manage Foes.
Add the User name of the annoying party to the list and click sumit.

*Fun fact* click view my posts and in the address bar it says "egosearch." My head inflates every time I see that, glorious!!

Oh, and when you post a Classified ad we're gonna need to see some pics. Seriously. We're mostly men here and highly visually stimulated. Gun porn please!!! Photobucket, imgur, flickr are all stupid simple to use!

Any way to change the number of posts per page? The default makes for a lot of page changing, and I can't speak for everybody, but my internet is fast enough to load 100 posts or whatever at once.

Also, the clock was an hour off until this weekend.
