lost and found section

Lately I've been thinking about lost and stolen items and things that were taken from me recently and even 30 years ago. Was wondering if it would be worthwhile to have a lost & found section here to use for people missing their guns and related things and those that have found one or want to check the status of a particular gun. I know there are other sites that address this, but just wondering what people here think about it.
