Stupid, I know, but a paywall doesn't stop true criminals. It would slow down or stop a lot of 'criminals' I think - but not so much the "anti-gunners" who'd just donate $1 to see what's there. Most criminals aren't smart enough to join a website, pay to join, find pics, find your address and rob you. Most home invasions are crimes of opportunity. Many won't steal guns either, there are far better things to steal if you want quick cash (tools, jewelry, electronics etc). I equate it to that "other" section that is members only (but not paid only)- It's better than being wide open, but in reality, anyone can create an account to see it without any further scrutiny. I would share that photo with friends but not the interwebs - but that's just my opinion. Once on the web, always on the web. Even in a "private" forum. I agree with most everything you wrote, but never, ever underestimate the ability of some criminals (I know you wrote "most" not being). Some straight up heroin addicts are otherwise super intelligent deep level (evil) thinkers - there have been suspicions of lurkers linked to burglaries here and the other site. I really agree with the stratified grouping doing no good for the site.

I feel like you're about to be broke. Right? I say just give Schnozz his own Paid forum section. Then he can moderate the "Rando's" to his hearts content. It might raise 5 bucks for the site too. No wait, i'll donate 10 right now just to kick it off.

Well shit, maybe I should start an auction. The more money you donate to the site, the longer I'll stay away and won't post.

If it's posted on the Internet, assume it's forever going to be on someone's server.
Blur your serial numbers, and use a pseudonym.

No....don't start an Auction, or a Poll, or ask us which Pistol you should buy... or how to change the Forum, or why your underwear itches, or anything remotely like the above. Then you can stay.

At our local range membership is only granted if you have a "sponsor" to refer you.
Over time, if you are a contributing member you will meet at least a half dozen folks here. I was referred here by two members also. I have two friends that have come here because of me also.
Im kinda weary of folks who "find" us via a search engine. Maybe its the old paranoid guy in me, but I cant help it.
I will NEVER post pics of any of my arms here or anywhere else.

Lots of posts show up there that people don't want searchable via the internet, and don't want rando's that create an account to be able to access. Make people commit funds to see what's in it.
The reason I'm bringing it up, is because I recently took a picture of all my firearms. I'd like to share the picture, but rather not have it all over the web and for everybody to see.
Thoughts? Have you been riding your bicycle again w/o your helmet and fell on the concrete for the sixth time?

Sinus211 wrote: MadPick wrote: mmalleck wrote: Blur your serial numbers, and use a pseudonym. Well shit Mark, he’s got you there That is pretty hilarious. This is what happens when I drink 4 IPAs and get on the computer. I didn't say I took my own advice. LOL! I did find another loophole last week to the boating accident. Selling out of state. When selling out of state, records are not updated. So, everything I've posted here with a serial number has been sold out of state. And my user name here is fictional, and in no way resembles anyone real. I'm glad my drinking while computing at least provides some entertainment.
