Tons of fun. Looks like you probably have everything you need there. Don't use heavy loads with the brass frame.

And clean it every time you shoot it. Religiously .

This.
And boiling hot water is best to clean your barrel out. Then wipe wipe wipe until the patches comes out clean.
Then a light coat of oil.

Modern technology, and as much as I hate it, Google.

Specifically, Google Translate app.

So, a decade ago, the closest thing you could get to live translation was converting text to another language........and back again...

and now, you can have an almost seamless conversation with someone, without knowing anything.

I was down in orting, and saw a minivan not just on the shoulder, but full on in the grass, and decided i'd hop out to see what's up....figuring it was a flat... or out of gas.. something I could help with in 2 seconds...

Well, this Asian lady in her 60's that's standing next to the van walks towards me and starts pointing at her phone, which has a text message with an address on it.... and we very quickly realize that she doesn't speak a word of English, and I don't speak a word of Chinese.

But, Google translate to the rescue.

Put it in the live conversation mode, and it's instantly taking her spoken Chinese, translating it, and speaking it in English, and translating my spoken English into spoken Chinese.

Yeah, it wasn't perfect, but I very quickly found out that she was lost and didn't how how to use her GPS, and didn't know about Google Maps, so, despite her phone being in Chinese, I was able to put the address in Google maps and got her on her way.

This just blew me away for some reason. The idea that 2 people that don't even know the same language can communicate pretty seamlessly with minimal issue, is mindblowing. Yeah, I know the technology has existed for a couple years now, and I've tested it just dicking around, but this was my first real world use, and it's pretty fucking amazing.

TLDR; I have a love/hate relationship with Google.

GF/Fiancee lives in Walla Squared.

She surprised me by coming over the pass yesterday instead of today.

Made it to Kentucky a little bit ago

Been driving since 9:00 yesterday morning

Boom truck did pretty good. Two blown tires and a ragged mud flap but the new engine is running really well. Better than it ever was
