When they talk of a coming ice age, what they are referring to is the advance of the north pole glaciers (which has happened dozens of times during this ice age). I have been telling people for years that CO2 is the gas of life, by burning "fossil fuels" we are putting the CO2 BACK into the atmosphere from which IT CAME. We are literally saving the planet by burning oil and coal, not harming it. There has never been any real evidence of global warming, thus the change in their crusade to "climate change" (which is a completely meaningless term). From start to finish it was an attempt by the leftists to gain control over energy policy, if you can control energy, you can control everything. Which of course is what these sadists want. The world was still warmer in 1000 A.D., when one could grow wheat in Greenland and wine grapes in Sweden. The warming we're experiencing has been steadily going on since about 1660 A.D.. Only people who track recent history will claim the sky is falling.

The Earth is colder now that its mean temp, in other words we are not up to "normal temps" if there is such a thing.
