For this application, Android is 10x better. A lot cheaper with more flexibility. Tons more tracking apps that Apple can't say they don't approve of.

Nope. There's some give/take. There are definitely some shady apps that I've used in the past, KNOWING what was going on in the background (collecting data), because I needed that specific functionality. It's about sandboxing things, or not giving a shit.
