Welcome back, with food ! The tale of the last year in the life of Captain90s is long, sordid, and completely unfit for recounting here. A couple of you know some of it. If you think you know me well enough to be told, hit me up. JohnMBrowning wrote: Early release for good behavior? I forfeited my good time after the fifth shanking. I kid, I kid. Jail was not involved. Wetpaperbag wrote: I'm sorry. But hey a job is a job. Fish has terrible management and ownership. A few of their more outspoken board members think they own and run the place. Not to shit on your job either, you may love the place. I've just heard from reliable people in the local area brewery business there is a reason for their high turnover. Best of luck though. Glad you got something steady with a plan. That is more than others. I did wonder about their high turnover. Their head chef Brandon told me he had lost two people, but that he wouldn't be able to get me on the line until he was able to "work the schedule". He offered me the dishpit position because he knew I was hurting for work. Which was nice of him. But yes, I have already (after 2 shifts) noticed several problematic issues in the kitchen. This won't be a permanent, or even long-term, position. But it's nice to have income. Massivedesign wrote: Oly?! Sweet! You coming to the rally this weekend? Yessir, I now live just a 10 minute walk from the Capitol Building. If you PM me about the rally, I'll see if I can make it. Thanks, everyone, for your welcome. As I said, I won't be quite as active as I used to be, at least for the moment. But it is good to be back.

I'd like to mention how awesome/funny it is to me that so many of the threads I remember are STILL GODDAMN GOING! The "Made your Day" and "Pissed you Off" threads I more or less expected to be going. But multiple times I've thought "Damn, these mofos are STILL talking in this one??"
