More Seattle progressive ideas.... SEATTLE — How would you feel about tolls on all arterial lanes of Seattle? Or getting charged for driving into certain blocks of Seattle? Or not being allowed into certain areas based off your license plate number? Those are all options the Seattle Department of Transportation is considering to ease road congestion. https://komonews.com/news/local/seattle ... on-pricingI cannot wait to leave this State. I was born and raised here, but i am done with this oppressive Shithole.

I have to stop asking, "what's next?". They seem to think it's a challenge, (of how stupid they can get).

There are plenty of cities (and areas) that have "congestion" type price increases though which was more what I was referring to. My bad :)

This is similar to the new Chinese social rating system recently denying, public transportation, housing, and employment based off of your social media, and other personal history. When do the Mandrian lessens begin?

Seattle: Its worse than you thought. https://video.foxnews.com/v/6040711413001/People of color have a disproportionately high offense rate so there must be a problem with the racist laws. Solution: A social justice initiative. Ended suspension at grade schools. Ended library fines, property tax initiative to cover cost. Stopped enforcing street camping laws. Stopped enforcing drug laws. Allow bums to ride and camp out on buses without paying the fair, and also don't make them pay the fine. This is insanity!

I read that city populations are starting to decline. All part of the cycle. Cities get too expensive and those looking for the exciting city life have families and want to move some place quieter to raise a family.
The 50's and 60's were just the boom period because of the fear of what a nuke would do to a big city.

I strongly oppose this proposal and as far as I knew - no one in the US had done it. Only Europe.

I fully support congestion pricing. I have no desire to ever drive into Seattle. The worse they make it, the faster it will die. Eventually it'll get so bad, maybe the people will elect some Republicans to fix it. Isn't that what happened to New York with Rudy?

Maybe if they used all the ridiculous taxes to improve our roadways instead of coddling heroin addicts there wouldn’t be so much congestion. Hmm?
