Some here will be sad, some here will be happy. But rumor n the streets is that the landlord shot the lease through the roof and they just said enough is enough. I fucking hate shopping for new boots again. More money to be made in yuppie new age millennial soccer mom Yelm with a Bed Bath n Beyond or a gluten free vegan grocery store. Or more junk food. Looking around at their neighbors it was only a matter of time. Sunbird in Chehalis ain’t going anywhere yet.

Shucks, I still miss Sea-Mart at the end of Capitol Way in Oly, before it became Yardbirds, next to Harvey's Pet Store and the WA Dept. Of Fish & Game..... oh, and the Shelton Yardbirds. Wasn't that just a couple years ago?

INSANE!!!
There were TONS of people!
Lines were wrapped all the way to the back of the store, then down the clothing section and then curled into a tail where the end was back up front by the socks/fitting rooms.
2-3 hours to check out.

Yeah and 25% mean they brought poirces back into normal pricing range. Meh. Once it's 50% no we are getting closer to what the price worth looking at would be. I remember when Sports Authority closed up here. towards the end the were some deals to good to pass up. Looking back should have cleaned more firearms out from them!

Sixgun_Symphony wrote: I was at Sunbird in Yelm and asked to drop off some voter registration forms at the gun counter as the I-1639 was taking effect in a month. The manager said no because they dont involve themselves in controversial politics. I replied that selling guns and ammunition already did that. I also said that he is undercutting his gun/ammo sales by not supporting their customers right to buy those items. The manager asked me to leave, which I did. When outside I got into a conversation with a fellow about what just happened, the store manager came outside and told me to leave the property.
That they dont support the right to buy guns and ammo, they really should get out of the business of selling guns and ammo. Make it happen, boycott Sunbird in Yelm. Well it looks like the OP is AWOL. Come back and own up and join in on the good conversation. I would like to add and I hope the OP comes back and sees this. I believe that such a small local business that sells guns would get eat up by the no good for nothing sorry sacks of shit anti-gun FUKS that sacked Walmart!!!
