All the FB comments are pro gun and bashing the Stockton PD. Seems a little short on details.

The cop who made the arrest most likely already took the rifle home and added it to his collection. I won't be surprised if it ends up being sold to some other member of the LE community.

The controlists will learn no appropriate "lesson" from the comments, other than to try to put a better spin on their PR campaign.

I hope this is an important lesson for all of you, make sure your Illegal assault weapons don’t travel through California, and if they do, don’t get pulled over and consent to search or hide them good enough so the fuzz can’t find them in an initial search.
