A Florida couple shopping for a baby shower gift thought they got a great deal when they found a baby bouncer for only $10 at Goodwill. What they didn't expect was to find a semi-automatic rifle inside.

Honey, where is the baby bouncer? You know that's part of our go bag.

Wife: You mean that one we donated to Goodwill??

Husband: shit.

I don't know if it's poor journalism, poor policing, or this article is fabricated. Nevertheless, I don't believe everything I just read.
A police department told them they can keep the gun but, then came back and said they need to hold it? Either that's poor policing or someone is lying.
Those rifles take .22LR and I see 9MM and a pistol mag in addition to what appears to be the rifles mag.

And a box that this rifle could never fit inside of. Some jackass just threw together some scary gun stuff for the picture, I’m assuming

That baby chair looked dangerous to me, like a baby could strangle itself in it. I thought that box said, "Baby Epstein" at first glance!

In the hands of a good operator like Chuck Norris, both those items can be deadly.

The photo definitely doesn't seem to go together with the details in the story.

But the real question is, why would you report this? Chalk it up as a great thrift store find and carry on with your mouth shut...

I'm glad "the chamber was locked". Another indication that despite allegedly being written by a military wife, they don't quite have the lingo down pat.

If that item could be traced you'd probably find it was part of a shipment meant for refugees from the middle east
