Not sure that this justifies it's own thread:

REPUBLICAN OPPONENT CALLS JEFF VAN DREW 'DESPERATE' AS DEMOCRAT REPORTEDLY PLANS TO SWITCH PARTY OVER TRUMP IMPEACHMENT
https://www.newsweek.com/republican-opponent-calls-jeff-van-drew-desperate-democrat-reportedly-plans-switch-party-1477341

Quote:
Republicans and Democrats in New Jersey have responded critically after reports that Democratic Representative Jeff Van Drew plans to switch political parties, with one GOP challenger calling him "desperate" and another calling him a "weasel."

Van Drew, who is a moderate Democrat, reportedly told his aides on Saturday that he planned to officially switch parties and become a Republican, according to The New York Times. The representative has been a staunch critic of his Democratic colleagues impeachment inquiry against the Donald Trump, and reportedly asked the president directly on Friday for his support as he made the decision.

It may not if the Senate shuts the impeachment down fast. The Republicans might move to close the circus fast in order to avoid the appearance of partisan shit slinging that is dragging the Democrats down in the polls.

Around a dozen Trump supporters attended the event to discuss the House's recent recognition of the Armenian Genocide. Scattered throughout the audience, the protesters began yelling "Liar!" at the de facto ringleader of House Democrats' efforts to impeach President Trump.

After some aggressive shushing from Schiff supporters, the audience members yelling at Schiff removed their jackets, revealing pro-Trump shirts. One of them then said, "you should go to fuckin' jail ... you will be going to jail, for treason."

"This man is a fuckin' liar!" shouted another.

The Left invited this behavior by legitimizing move on, code pink, and antifa.

There is a change.org petition going to NOT impeach, I suggest people spread the word. The one TO impeach has lot more votes so far.

The debate about whether the senate should just make a quick job of it and deny the impeachment or not...

Well, I can see some of the points. Like the senate not wanting to become viewed as time wasters like the dems and congress have. (The 'optics' to this is that the dems and congress have shoved spurious impeachment charges constantly, while ignoring the job they are SUPPOSED to be doing, and for which they have been hired.) Ok, I can see that.

So how about they dump the impeachment real fast... And then start a separate investigation into all the treason behind the impeachment drive? And all the treason by previous administrations, and the treason by current dems... All unintentionally uncovered by the impeachment drive...
