I wanted to wait until after Christmas to pick one up, but I noticed it wasn’t listed on Costco’s website, so I emailed their jewelry support folks. Turns out, they’re no longer stocking the Combat Sub reference number GL0076, just the Combat 6 and a stealth looking Airman. So what’s in inventory at various stores is what there is. That was all it took for me, and I cruised down to my local Costco and snagged one.
So if you want a Combat Sub for cheaper than anywhere else I’ve seen, your window of opportunity at Costco is coming to a fast close.
It’s been three days and I love this watch. I sized the bracelet and then immediately removed it and put it on a black NATO. With how thin and lightweight this watch is, it’s so comfortable. I’ve been reading up on Glycine and the Combat Sub for a little while now and have been wanting to try one, and with this, I’m definitely an instant fan of the brand and will probably pick up another one or two in different colorways at some point.
