Flight out of Portland had an explosive decompression by what appears to be be a sealed emergency exit blowing out. No injuries or fatalities thankfully, but not a good look for Boeing. Plane is brand new and was just delivered November time frame.

Boeing management caused this...but they'll screw some poor mechanic over on it.

”Exterior photos of the aircraft appeared to show that the rear mid-cabin exit door separated from the aircraft during the flight, Flightradar24 said in a post on its website.

The MAX 9 features a rear cabin door behind the wings of the aircraft that can be "activated" in dense seating configurations to meet evacuation requirements, Flightradar24 said. However, they are permanently "plugged," or deactivated, on Alaska Airlines jets.”

That’s just the ultra premium deluxe ’extra view’ seating

More and more people are flying with ‘service dogs’. Now they can stick their head out the window

Between Alaska and the McDonnell Crime Family... plenty of shoulders to spread blame on here. Remember, Alaska's the ones that NEVER buy enough de-icer at SeaTac so every time there's a heavy snow their whole system shuts down?

The boy was sitting by that door…
Wonder if he pulled the handle?

Makes you think twice about going for an exit row seat now.... doesn't it?

Maybe if they hired people over 30
You know, real mechanics and machinists
But this was a material failure
Thanks to maybe… China

That “door” is covered up by panels from the inside. So as a passenger, it’s just a seat with no window.

Boeing is perfect example of why “less government regulation” isn’t all rainbows and unicorns.

Government regulation didn't have anything to do with this issue, I'll leave it at that.
