I use the DOT cameras to see live pictures of where it's snowing at any given time. https://www.wsdot.com/traffic/seattle/default.aspx?cam=1181#cam

That’s a good idea for my commute.

Thanks

Took me ~10 minutes to dig the Tacoma out. Hope I don't need the lockers.........well might be fun!

10-12" SNOW barely at freezing. OK Thermo says 32.4°F

We got about 8-9" over night, trees are touching the road, road next to our house is closed with an 80 footer hanging over the entire road.

Took me better part of 45 minutes to shovel out my F-250 (one handed shoveling should be an olympic sport). Got the majority of the snow off of the truck, and headed to work. It was just starting to come down pretty good again when I did, and Rita says it's snowing pretty good now.

The picture's after I shoveled out along the truck last night, so it's less than the accumulated amount. You can't even see where I shoveled.

The drive in was pretty uneventful, slippery in a few places, but nothing to get excited about. My favorite abandoned vehicle was a new looking Jeep about 1/4 the way up Big Rock Road (I've been stuck in the snow in my Mercedes in almost that exact place). Wonder if they just didn't know how to lock or engage their hubs? Or do they make 2WD Jeeps now?

3 inches or so last night in Edmonds. Tiny flakes falling now, but the snow on the ground is already getting slushy. It'll be icy tonight for sure!

I went over Snoqualmie Pass on Friday evening - it was nowhere near as bad as they forecasted. Same last night...we hit the summit at about 9 PM and never even had to put it in 4WD. But there was a ton of snow up there.

The weatherman said we'd get 2 inches this weekend. Got..........nothing, zip, nada, zilch, diddly squat. I love snow.

A whopping 1/2" inch here in Sequim. Didn't stick to the roads or a lot of my lawn.

Clear as can be in Burley. Nothing falling, nothing on the ground.
