Personal weapons are what raised mankind out of the mud, and the rifle is the queen of personal weapons. The possession of a good rifle, as well as the skill to use it well, truly makes a man the monarch of all he surveys. It realizes the ancient dream of the Jovian thunderbolt, and as such it is the embodiment of personal power. For this reason it exercises a curious influence over the minds of most men, and in its best examples it constitutes an object of affection unmatched by any other inanimate object.

People are stupid sheep Yeah...because us "old farts" don't do anything that "contributes" to a functioning economy. Perhaps we should just institute a "Logan's run" policy...at say what...40? 50? 60? I agree with the bullshit numbers...but the rest of your comment is bullshit. You know the gist of what I'm saying. The most people that are dying from this are 70+, they dont work, many of them only put anything into the economy because they get social security. If you are old or health problems stay home, let the able bodied people live life. We shouldnt be holed up because of a minority That's a bullshit statement. Just because people are on social security doesn't mean they don't have resources to spend and contribute to the economy. Look at all the RV's, new vehicles, home repairs, vacation homes, travel, dining, season ticket holders etc etc that are "old people" financed. I agree that if you have health issues or are more susceptible you should exercise more caution...but to blame the lockdown on old people is arrogance and ignorance. People with their only income being social security arnt buying rv's....nor technically helping the economy You just can't get it can you? Just because someone is only getting "social security" doesn't mean they don't have other financial means. I'll grant you that there are those who only get SSI and aren't "contributing" to the economy on the scale you may see as acceptable. But they still buy groceries, and other life necessities. So yes...they are contributing to the economy. Just not on the scale as a big spender/contributor like you may be.

"Flattening the curve" has never really meant that fewer people would get the virus; it meant that fewer would get it AT ONE TIME. Absolute number will probably be the same. Add in mutations and this thing is a permanent resident of planet earth and a pernicious foe of humanity. https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/ ... newsletterAdd in that some develop 'chronic' infections (they never get rid of it)... China has suggested that the chronic ones be "isolated". For a life-long infection? Just give me the .22 behind the ear and move on, thanks.

Of course, at 61 if I was retired I would stay home. But I am not and I am some kind of factor more productive than some gen whateverthefuk who can't even understand fractions at the advanced age of 25. Number 1 should absolutely be people with a compromised immune system along with retired people over 65. #2 should be fatties over 40 with heart conditions, #3 fatties with diabetes. And lastly fatties in general.

Update for the old fart list as of 5/1/2020. I got you all beat. I'm number 1 on the runway.
I take precautions for myself because I'm the king of old farts. That's about all anyone can do, but the elderly are at a much higher risk. I don't do much different other than I'm more aware of what I am doing and others around me. Amazing how careless people are. All gloved up with a face mask fondling everything in sight.
I created this because MSM won't report any details of deaths. Lazy ass reporting to keep the fear flowing.

It ain't the old peoples fault. They're just the string attached to the heart that the opportunists are tugging on for this BS.
No different than the tricycle motors and guns. "for the children".....
My dad is 85 and anyone on here who can get him to stay home...I'll give you a gift cert to any steak house you want. Be forewarned, he fights dirty.

It's not necessarily "old" people, as many old people have survived the virus. If you're vulnerable (no matter your age), you likely know it, and should take personal responsibility to protect yourself as much as possible. The government shouldn't take on the responsibility of trying to protect "everyone" because some are at higher risk.

I found this waiver for those that would like to protest and don't think they are causing harm to others.
