Anyway, other doctors saw the deaths were caused by secondary pneumococcal infection and when treated as such, people recovered - again most, if not nearly all never wore masks.

Wondering if you read the NIH/Fauci authored paper she linked on her website? Fauci acknowledged that secondary bacterial/viral pneumonia infections are a primary cause for fatality.

Here's where my assumption comes into play: there have been morre than a few claims lately that (dirty) masks can harbor pneumonia causing pathogens (which then contribute to the fatalities associated with Covid infection).

It wouldn't be a reach to make the connections she made in the brief tweet above.
