I think we are in strong agreement here where the "cure" to COVID was far worse than the disease. It was a totalitarian's dream. it was the excuse to forcibly lock people in their homes and deprive them from their livelihoods. Economists and mental health experts were never given their input to COVID policies. I think the only solution is to open up and go back to normal, like China, who are laughing their asses off.

Remember the videos from China? People welded in their apartments? People falling from roofs? Men falling down in the street? Video from behind the "great" Firewall of China! What a masterful stroke of genius to scare us!

Frankly after the plague in Europe, there was an abundance of food and the place was more pleasant, maybe just a little short of labor.

Really interesting infographic. Unfortunately, too many folks share charts like this to minimize the impact and severity of Covid. No, it isn't as fatal as the spanish flu, but that's expected. We've had 100+ years to advance science and health care. Hopefully, the next pandemic will be even less fatal due to the incremental gains we will have made in science, health care and medicine by then.

Additionally, to all the anti-vaxxers: small pox went away via...vaccines.

Not to be cold cruel and unusual but if the weak die from diseases, it might actually benefit our species.

Also of note: the plague is caused by bacteria.

There is debate to what ended smallpox, to whether it really died out, whether vaccination got the numbers down, or just new sanitary measures did it in. I was among the last to be vaccinated with smallpox (really cowpox) in the early 70s, and was revaccinated again in 2005 when I was deployed (don't know why).

http://vaclib.org/news/smallpoxalert.htm

Same for polio:
http://vaclib.org/basic/polio.htm

We don't know what they are putting in the vaccines and/or they exercise poor quality control.
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/10472327/
The presence of SV40 in monkey cell cultures used in the preparation of the polio vaccine from 1955 through 1961 is well documented. Investigations have consistently demonstrated the oncogenic behavior of SV40 in animal models. Early epidemiologic studies were inadequate in demonstrating an increase in cancer incidence associated with contaminated vaccine. Recently, investigators have provided persuasive evidence that SV40 is present in human ependymomas, choroid plexus tumors, bone tumors, and mesotheliomas, however, the etiologic role of the virus in tumorigenesis has not been established.

My point is they never admit wrong doing even after getting caught, and downplay its effects.

We can debate about vaccines and the mRNA therapy all day, I just don't want it mandatory that I get injected or coerced to have a job, travel or buy.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov was presented with a face mask, the inscription on which can be deciphered as “fucking quarantine.”

Krispy Kreme is giving one free donut per day, for all of 2021, to those that can show a vaccination card. This way, you can become morbIdly obese and more likely to die of COVID. I don’t fully understand the logic behind this.

Please. No one's going to become morbidly obese and die from one donut.

During the "lock down" the average adult weight gain is in the 20+ pound range. (some studies show over 2 pounds per month!)

The offer is one donut PER DAY.

Yes, people will become and are morbidly obese. So stop with the "please" Mr Inslee. The lockdown is a disaster. And a joke.

Whatever you do, don't make a fake card from the images I posted earlier, just to get free donuts...
