I wonder how long these high prices will last. Anyone care to take any bets as to how long until prices go back to what they were pre-Commievirus? I'm guessing not until after the election...so December.

At some point the panic is going to migrate from COVID-19 to BIDEN-20. I guess either is something, or nothing, to panic about

Idiots gonna idiot though

I'm thinking that there will be a lull in the summer. Prices may go down then. Good chance the virus kicks back up in the fall and smart seller will wait to take advantage of that combined with the election. If Hilary gets picked as veep dirtier than cheap is going to jizz in their pants

I’m guessing that we will see normal ammo prices in the short term. I think the madness about ammo prices will be very brief.

I just don’t feel like Biden is enough of a threat to cause a panic.

If that happens, I have a box of brown bear 9mm that I'll part with for a hunnert bucks! I'll even throw in a free roll of toidy paper.

Texas gun dealer accused of price gouging. The Texas Attorney General’s Office has received dozens of complaints that Cheaper Than Dirt, an online seller based in Fort Worth, is inflating prices of guns and ammunition. One man told a local CBS affiliate that the company charged him $1,000 for a thousand rounds of .223 rifle ammunition. Normal retail price? About $300. Cheaper Than Dirt received similar complaints following the 2008 presidential election and 2012 Sandy Hook shooting.

Just saw a bit on King 5 that Attorney General here in Washington is investigating every claim of price gouging.
Simple screen shot texted to a number I don't remember is all that's needed.
I wonder if they'll investigate 2A related items?

I'm going to find the number and search around for 2A related items and see if they will be biased towards that, I'd suggest others do so too and see if their office will be biased.

Government printing TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS to bail out all the rich hedge fund managers who bet wrong, and the banks and airlines who once again cooked their books, bailing out all the irresponsible fat cats at the top, while politicians lied and then sold their stocks with insider trading knowledge, and government throws peanuts at the tax payers as income subsidies to not work. Government spent hundreds of billions this year buying up all sorts of private debt and company interests.

And consumers are now tattling on businesses that charge market rates for products, now apparently ILLEGAL.

Folks apparently no longer understand or even want capitalism and literally begging for socialism, as defined by the government controlling the means of production and price fixing.

Boggles my mind.

Who "sets" the price of a Colt Python, or 1000 rounds of 5.56, or a Japanese Katana, or a Dewalt drill, or a sheet of plywood, and when is it reasonable and when is it gouging?

And is there a reverse concept, when buyers constantly gouge sellers by only buying on sale with discounts and coupons? Is that not the same concept in reverse, a buyer gouging?
