Man arrested, charged with disorderly conduct.... requires bail
The leftist 'protester' that threatened him with a knife? Not arrested. Keep in mind, people on the left arrested for 7 felonies have been let go on no bail. But here a non-leftist is not only arrested, but requires bail, for a crime that's barely above a parking ticket. A quick search said that cities can change the requirements in Oregon. So not knowing exactly where this took place... I'm just guessing. Simple math here. Fairly normal person caught and arrested, isn't going to burn the city down, and all his buddies aren't going to riot. Normal cause of operations for the police and court system. Socialist rioter? Why in the loving hell would anyone want to arrest, stop or limit any of their bullshit outta fear of the city being burned down with hundreds of contacts resulting in abuse allegation investigations. I don't know anyone that could tolerate being an officer in a city that steadily deals with the riots, why even bother to stop them anymore... Every cop I know has retired, change of career, moved out of state or quit and living on spouse income while looking. |
