They should all go to numbers. Don’t want to offend anyone now do we?

It's a double whammy.

Washington was an "evil slave owner," - forget that he was the most important American to ever live and we have our nation's capitol, a state, several hundred(?) monuments, probably thousands of roads, maybe hundreds of schools and buildings named after him for good reason. "EVIL WHITE MAN bad."

And the Redskins - which is clearly a term used in context in a flattering fashion as a proud, brave, capable warrior. Obviously a football team didn't name itself the panzies or some derogatory term to humiliate itself.

Obviously, Washington was an amazing human without whose contribution America might not have ever succeeded as it did. Literally the most important singular American to ever live. And of course, Redskins are proud brave warriors... WHY would anyone even think of changing that? A pack of idiots running the show I tell ya.

I digress. Let's call the team the American Leadcounsels. I won't be offended. Instead of an Indian chop, they can do a gavel on a desk motion.
