Richard Stallman is quite an interesting guy but a huge advocate of free speech and free software. I'll let you read up on him and his contributions to computing in general but now cancel culture is trying to cancel him.

I saw him speak once and he stood on stage in front of hundreds of people in the audience who were listening to him, and picked his nose.
