Been there, done that, have the scar

Same here. I think they used a air compressor for the injection. Been a few years.
I don't recall anyone crying.

Saw soldiers that flinched bleeding.

I was one of them, it left a gash & hurt like hell for a while... icon_eek

USAF basic training in 1970. We were so excited to hear that they wouldn't be using needles. People walked out of there with blood streaming down both arms. Hurt worse than any needle.

We got shots in elementary school with air injection system and it hurt a bit. I did bleed a bit but other kids bleed a lot more. I don’t recall kids refusing to get their shots in elementary school either. But that was 50 years ago now.

That is a strummed instrument used by the guys in the corn cob band!

(Also sometimes used as a washboard.)

I’m so old, I remember when we were forced to learn how to square dance.

:D

Yep. 5th grade, Mr Lothian!
Made to somewhat dress up, girls where supposed to wear dresses and boys as decent as boys could knowing parents cringed wearing Sunday clothes to school.

Wife had one hanging in the washroom. Not even sure where it is now! (That's how old I am, no memory)

Remember when KZOK played more music than commercials? Don Kirshner's Rock concerts, King Biscuit Flour Hour?

His Christmas albums were awesome. Really miss listening to him, Spike, and Moira (then Kaci).

He is still on but on the east coast. His son calls in occasionally.
Here is his podcast. I can't find the station he is on.

Bob Rivers single handedly ruined the song Black Hole Son for the Northwest Youth.

:ROFLMAO:

Asshole son mow the lawn...
And put your clothes away
Asshole son
What a bum

What a bum
(Asshole son, Asshole son)
