Louisville officer shot, police confirm
Update 8:43 p.m. EDT Sept. 23: A Louisville Metro Police Department officer was shot in downtown Louisville amid protests in response to the Breonna Taylor decision, WDRB reported.

Metrosafe confirmed to the television station that an officer had been shot at Brook and Broadway sometime before 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. The news was also confirmed by LMPD spokesperson Lamont Washington in an emailed statement.

The pre-parked truck was loaded with shields painted with anti-police messages, umbrellas, gas masks, and other riot supplies.

"Both officers are currently undergoing treatment... One is alert and stable. The other officer is currently undergoing surgery and stable. We have one suspect in custody."

Had this "discussion" last week with a security guard where I work. He's down for BLM and pretty militant. The dude ended up acting like he wanted to square up with me because he was so butthurt over facts. Oddly enough I haven't seen him since. I never reported him and didn't feel the need to. I'm not the type who feels the need to try to get people fired over stupid shit. Those types will always hang themselves at some point.......................and blame whitey for it.
