Bought a couple thousand round of 10mm. It hurt, but I wonder how much it actually went up. 10mm has always been more than the usual suspects.

Also bought some 45-70. That also hurt. But that's been affected even less than 10mm, for sure.

I have stayed away from the really common calibers.

It does sorta kinda feel like it's waning a bit. But we'll see what happens after the election.

I havent looked around are there any bargain calibers, like .270 in the 2012 panic??? I'll build stuff around it in the future.

I currently have plenty. (almost 1/2 is my 10k in 54r) but like everyone i'm lacking in good .556 for my galil build that should shit anything but i get a lot of forward assist practice on most of my ar's with brown bear.(not bad, i purposely add them to mags of m885)

We got remington 350rnd pails for $70 each and they had $30 mail in rebates going so they were $30 per 350.

Nope but the last time a week ago these came available They sold out in 10 minutes.
Finally they are actually sticking around which was why I posted. First time in months now that ammo at crazy prices has actually not sold out almost immediately.
Hoping this is a sign things are moderating and that the prices will drop back down to more reasonable prices.

Not only ammo, but the firearms that have been sold out for so long... I noticed AR 15s available for $600-700 about a week ago. Yesterday, I saw and bought reasonbly priced Hornady .223 ammo at Sportco in Fife WA. That rifle and the ammo had virtually disappeared from stores at normal prices, perhaps my timing was just lucky when I visited. The ammo shelves were virtually empty and I heard another customer mention there was no 9mm or .22lr available.
I believe in the hope-for-the-best but prepare-for-the-worst philosophy. If a person thinks the shortages will get worse if Biden wins, this may be the time to buy before the hoarding ramps-up even higher.

This has been up for two hours now, 60 cpr for hard to find 147 grain 9x19, which is a sign people are pulling back. I’m curious to see if it sells out at 60 cpr or if TS reduces it to sell it off.
