If all goes to shit Nationally. And Jayboye gets re-elected and scooped up by the Fed Gvt. Who fills Jayboyes vacated spot as Guberner? Would it be Lt. Gvnor? And if so... Should the right side of the state of Wa hedge their bets and push the J Freeed write in ? That's why Heck / Elias are working so hard for LT Gov. Getting rid of Inslee may be the silver lining in the situation, but I don't think Biden would want that liability around. He's already risen above his station.

In your scenario the Governor should fall to the Lt Governor. But isn't that acting governor until the next election? That would be a special election. Then might need yet another to fill the LT governor seat that the clowns in Seattle elect.
