This is a good reminder to park in your garage
Got too much shit? Get rid of it or organize better
When I met my wife she was parking on the street even though she had a two car garage. Once we cleaned that out we could both park in there

My wife is well rehearsed where NOT to sit, that is, facing the entrance, because that's my seat! I like to sit near the rear exit of a restaurant as well. I'm curious, in the CONUS, in what percentage of all armed incidents in a restaurant did the perps use the front entrance? I sit near the kitchen, it is usually far from front entrance, and most kitchens have a delivery door that is handy for emergency exit. Failing that, plate glass windows allow an extension of situational awareness and not exceptionally hard to break out if needed for hasty exit.

My son's car was stolen a few weeks ago, they caught the guys in my son's car very close to there, they were cited, and released, I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same guys.

Yup, eternal vigilance and constant situational awareness ... it's not easy but it sure comes on handy.

Car thieves need to disappear. I don't care how. You stole a man's horse, they'd string you up right there. They need to do the same for those wanting to steal the modern day horse.

I hope and pray that we all are ready for the inevitable. Practice every chance you get, do drills with your family at home!!! Be vigilant, be ready and be safe.

Amen, Ayn Rands version of objectivism fits my view just fine.
That car ain't a "thing", it's part of your life.
You sacrificed time, and energy, to generate the revenue to purchase it.
So yes, Mr. Tweaker, your life is worth LESS than my car.
Rule of current "law"? Got a shovel and a bag of lime. Shit's different now.

If you do try, make sure you are good/practiced at getting off the "X". Might not stop you getting shot, but likely will make where you get shot less lethal.

Yeah I remember a story of Bill Jordan proving just that in a courtroom once.

It's not only a physical object that they steal. Most importantly, it's the part of my life that I spent to EARN that thing, all memories that come along with that thing. That's why Gaston Glock made guns AND shovels.
