I have been a wamu clients when Chase bought them. Now they are completely woke and libtard. I want to move my savings somewhere else. I live in a small town and usually don’t go to the brick and mortar branch often, so good online banking is preferred. What are my choices?

I really like TwinStarCU. I believe they have a branch in Centralia or Chehalis.

I have accounts at WSECU. They have been pretty good. Have a location in the Chehelis/Centrailia area as well as a bunch in the Oly/Tumwater area.

+1 for BECU. We’ve been very happy with them. They’re online banking is good. They’re expanding atm locations and have credit back for using other branches atms.

I have both BECU and TwinStar. BECU's app is far better than TwinStar's.

I've been with BECU for 1000 years, and I've been happy with them.

However, one of our members recently applied for a loan with them for his FFL, and they declined it saying, "BECU does not offer credit to businesses in this industry." So, that's disturbing.

They've not only gone woke, but also banned carry in their branches.

I ended up having a conversation with the chief of their security.... He basically said 'we have to have policies that protect the company, but concealed is concealed, we can't ask you to leave if we never see it', but they're on record as banning guns. I told them i was pissed because they had a 'follow state law' policy before I joined, and a year or so after I joined they went 'no guns'... He said he understood but nothing he could do because bean counters did some BS math about being liable for gun injuries if something happened at the branch.. My 'by banning guns, you're assuming the responsibility of keeping everyone in the building safe' landed on deaf ears.

They have been relegated to my backup account.

USAA has no physical branches, and has decent insurance.

Been with BECU for over a year, so far no issues other than coof mask BS.... but they're woke, and anti-gun as well.... Had a couple issues with them locking my online access and having to call them to unblock it, because I was using a VPN... and bonus points for being able to replace/issue a debit card on the spot, instead of having to wait a couple days for one to be mailed.

I switched to Commencement Bank, its still early on but they at least know how to operate a banking website.

We bought a car in 2011 and the best rate was BECU so we financed it through them.
They were always screwing up something, retarded bank IMHO.

We are rural in East Grays Harbor and use Timberland Bank, no problems and always a smiling face to serve us.
