Check with the Seattle Museum of History and Industry, they might be interested in any of them from the local papers.
Probably get a tax write-off for the value with a museum donation.

Yeah, but the Tax write off doesn't really matter much anymore with the standard 24,000 deduction. I'm not going to itemize a thousand newspaper front pages. Lol

1000 items with an average value of $100.00?
That's a hundred grand deductible value. Or more.
Maybe I'm missing something.

It's likely that not many will be worth 100 bucks, but if they were all worth that I would just go ahead and retire. Lol

I have the 6-7 big boxes in storage, but I keep running across one's in the house. I just found another stack in a spare room, here's a couple off the top.

No, the newspapers you’ve saved :ROFLMAO:

(Edited to add : The inference being you were an adult at the time, get these papers delivered to your door...)

I have a few of these. They are advertising out of Life Magazine.
I recently contacted a guy through Craigslist who collects vintage posters.
Told him what I had and set him a photo of them.
He told me that they printed soooo many of these that they are worth nothing.
Yours might be a different story. But you’ll have to take them to an expert to find out.

Yeah, I may do that. It will be a lot of work though. I do have the cardboard shipping sleeves too.

Love to have the Japanese related articles but prolly wouldn't be appropriate to have them up at the base here.
