Concentrations camp? Hmmmm.....read more from the posting.

"The Isolation and Quarantine (I & Q) Section works to decompress hospitals by supporting local and state isolation and quarantine (I&Q), Alternate Care Facility (ACF), and patient transport (EMS) by partnering with local governments (Tribes, Counties, Cities) and communities, state agencies, and other entities in the event of an emergency.

These I & Q Strike Team Member Program Specialist 2s (PS2) are responsible for participating in program planning and evaluation of health service delivery products and identifying needs for personnel, supplies, and activities to support community and state response activities. These positions will staff the State Isolation and Quarantine Facility and provide for the needs of travelers that stay at the facility. I & Q Strike Team members are in responsible charge of the I & Q Facility during their shift and are tasked with responding to emergencies, training contractors and new staff, and providing guest support as needed. When we are successful, these efforts will directly support the mission of the DOH, which is to protect and improve the health of people in Washington.

This recruitment will be used to fill three (3) non-permanent full-time Program Specialist 2 positions located within the Division of Emergency Preparedness & Response. These Program Specialist 2 positions are anticipated to last twelve (12) months from date of hire."

Sure thing, U.S., if it's outside of your expectation of going to Starbux, the grocery store and swinging by the local, putt-putt it belongs in the tinfoil hat thread and whoever broached the subject is to be scorned for violating your safe-space. (a couple of more sentences and you can go color and calm down.

Back in the last century Eugenics was a big thing, and many of the most learned and progressive minds embraced it as the savior of humanity and a pure viable gene pool. It was taken to some pretty extreme ends, segregating mongoloids (people with downs syndrome) schizophrenics... others with genetic deviations deemed unsuitable, to whither in neglect. It was ultimately carried to the extreme of racial selection and the Final Solution.

I'm sure everyday Germans tsk-tsk'd and said "nein, das ist crazy talk! We live in the most economically developed, and intellectually progressive country the world has seen (and they did!) Our leaders would never do such terrible things." So too, said the Octoberists... the Maoists... of their progressive Utopias.

I may have put this tersely and insensitively, but it irks me that your default is to mockery when constant vigilance for liberty and against such atrocity is crucial.

You read the job description, right?

My reply wasn't mockery, look at the OP and then my snippet of what the job actually was. I don't go to Starbux, but i did play Putt putt Golf recently though as you pointed out.

The OP's claim VS the Job description is a big stretch though, wouldn't you agree on that? Nobody is going to force shit on me, i have a low tolerance for nonsense and unsupported claims from some underground website too.

I don't support mandate's and i don't support Government bullshit either, but i also don't support unfounded Tinfoil hat hysteria.

I'm afraid it's not tinfoil hat stuff. Concentration camp by another name.

What was Manzanar? A fun camp?

Here, I got you a link:

It was first Jacobson versus Massachusetts which was used by Buck versus Bell that gave the government the "right" to sterilize whomever it wanted:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buck_v._Bell

Later used by Nazis at Nuremberg (since we did it) to justify their experiments on Jews.

Be very wary of jobs for collecting individuals "for their own good".

It’s a hotel. Originally it was on Thurston County until their lease ran up, so they moved it to Lewis County.

Basically it’s a place where people who cannot heal at home can go to recover from COVID. In reality, it’s a huge money suck, but funded by federal bucks.

And Strike Tream is a well known medical term. Not some DOH Alpha Force kicking in your doors.

I don’t see this as anything other than a huge nothingburger except to highlight the huge waste of money, that is status quo, for this pandemic.

For those who say this isn't happening/can't happen. I want to direct you to what the Biden admin said a few months ago. Keep in mind this is the ASSOCIATED PRESS, about as liberal "mainstream" as it gets, so if anyone tries claiming this is "right wing tinfoil" they can think again.

An administration official said the interstate travel vaccination requirement was not under consideration at the moment.

That’s not to say they won’t be implemented in the future, as public opinion continues to shift toward requiring vaccinations as a means to restore normalcy.

Strike teams, yep have a good number of people here that can go places, myself included.
News snippets of people boarding flights to help those wiped out by hurricanes, floods etc, are part of a strike team

This is more of a home health coordinator for those folks that are quarantined than the developer for a 'concentration camp'.

I suspect the current system is overstretched because of all the positive cases that have had to be tracked and followed up on so they are looking for some people in the health care field that can put together something that can help in following up with the COVID positive cases that Washington deals with.

I actually would be qualified, to a point, for a job like that. If I wanted it. And no, I don't see anything sinister about this. Having some home health nurses calling in and making sure someone isn't getting sicker isn't necessarily a bad thing.
