This guy, a delivery driver, shows up at a scam delivery request for pizza, and they pull a gun on him to rob him (of what???????), BUT HE SHOOTS FIRST!! He survives! He kills his attempted murderer!! That's when he lost his head and forgot to stay alert. While he was in the fog of war, he didn't think to watch the second perp, she sneaked up behind him, picked up the gun of her dead crime partner, and shoots the survivor dead. What a way to lose your life....

"As Ungersma stood in 16th Street near Hart Street yelling for neighbors to call 911, Billups picked up Vanmeter's gun, walked up behind Ungersma and killed him."

First thing you’d do after neutralizing BG is to secure his weapon.

Unfortunately that got a guy who stopped a mass shooter killed. He was holding the guy's rifle when the cops showed up.

I think what we need to learn from this is situational awareness.

Yeah. I’m not afraid of criminals as much as I’m afraid of trigger-happy cops.

One lesson being cover access to the weapon...

And don’t ever assume an attacker is alone...

That’s why we have standard-capacity magazines.

30 years martial arts training every session included multiple attackers because we are not alone in this world and evil never sleeps.

Say you survive a shooting and the attacker is down, what would you do? Scan for additional threats, retreat to a defensible position, call the cops and swap in a fresh magazine for your gun?

It can be scary and confusing.

This is exactly what you should do with the addition of securing/disabling your assailants weapon on the way out if possible. An attack will definitely be scary and confusing, thats why you need a plan burned into your head prior... muscle memory will take over. Once the adrenaline wears off and the shakes start you want to be in a secure position, safe, not looking for one or fumbling with a weapon (yours or assailants) when the police show up.

Although securing the BG's gun or disabling it is what we SHOULD do, in this day and age it is tough to do anything to disturb the crime scene. In today's world a GG with a gun is as bad or worse than a BG with a gun in the minds of these snowflakes.

That's not exactly how Evil Genius went down.

The insanity over Kyle Rittenhouse is proof of that.

Showing no contrition in the courtroom, she should have received the maximum sentence and not leniency.

Remember this pizza delivery driver in the U District had a naked guy whacked out on acid jumping on the hood and roof of his car, got down and opened his door.
Driver shot and killed him with an AR.
Driver was promptly fired for carrying a firearm at work and the dead psycho's mom said it was murder, he was such a good boy (no charges were ever filed).
Anyone who has seen zombie movies would think it a good shoot.
