I'm wondering if anyone has any insights into what led Matt Larkin to victory of Reagan Dunn?
From what I understood, Reagan Dunn was better funded, certainly had greater name recognition in King County with his work on the King County Council, and had significantly more relevant experience in politics than Matt Larkin.
What do you think happened?

Did he do like the other Republican congresswoman and vote to impeach Trump?

The latter point is the bigger concern to me. Dunn seemed way more electable as a conservative on the council but moderate enough to draw more middles.

Reports are that the Dems are throwing money behind Republicans in the primaries that they think they can beat. On the national level, they’re putting money behind pro-Trump Dems, so they can go at them with anti-Trump rhetoric and ads. They don’t have much else much else to run on.

Don't know much about Larkin, but Dunn is a big time RINO who's bent over to Dems so often on king county council he's bow legged. He's also a drunk and had a notorious DUI.

Larkin didn't do negative, from what I understood.

I wonder how much of it was just name recognition. I heard lots of ads for Larkin, none for Dunn.

However, I'm sick of seeing progeny of elected politicians who think they can get a free ride in politics based on their last name, not that Jennifer Dunn was a bastion of conservatism or anything.
