As some may have realized by now, I am pretty anal about buying American made products. Yes. It takes a little effort, but in my mind it's worth it. So, I thought I would make this thread about USA made stuff. If you've found some good ol' USA products we might be interested in buying or looking for Post them here.

Here's some slippers, moccasins and stuff... most?... a good portion? of the stuff they carry, they make in ID.

Aside: the scuffs I bought from them are discontinued and have been replaced with imports (boos and oh! noes!)

EDIT: I sent an email about the scuffs now being imported. Owner wrote back and said they only sell the Idaho made scuffs in their brick-and-mortar now, because they couldn't keep up with the on-line volume.

This 2009 model Toyota Tundra that I currently own was manufactured in San Antonio, Texas. That is bumper to bumper. Not like some other USA brand trucks that the parts are USA but then assembled in Mexico. :flag:

It irritates me trying to find country of origin information is so difficult on products.

I honestly wouldn't mind if there was a regulation that required companies to specify the country of origin of their products on any listing.

I write/email or call the mfr to inquire. If not USA or an acceptable non-communist ally, "I say no thanks; I'll find a domestic source."

So as am American that is in manufacturing, I've had this talk quite a bit. You're truck was made here, sure, 100%? I'm not positive, I thought most powerplants still came from over seas?
Anyway, my question is, what's better, made in America by a foreign owned company, or foreign made by an American company?

Hard to say.

Jobs here, is better, profits leave the country…not so good.

But Microsoft sends the money to othe4 countries, so, who knows, right?
