I like DeSantis. To me he’s a good example of leadership, how to effectively communicate, and why having a good record of prior experience translates into qualifications for public service. DeSantis, a true Florida Man.

If DeSantis runs he will win, and a lot of down ballot Republicans will win

If Trump runs he may or may not win, but a lot of down ballot Republicans will lose.

I want DeSantis so we get President AND Senate, so that we get SCOTUS appointments, so that I can keep my guns.

Look up the Bradley Effect, now partially known as the Trump Effect. S/he won't win and you'd see demographic gaps in voting results like never before.

In fact it would be perfect. The polls would consistently showing her/him leading Trump to the point where the Dems wouldn't campaign much like Hitlery and on election day the results would swing way opposite the polls.
