One of the major attractions of WA to me when I was looking at places to move to after living in CA for 20 years, was the ease of getting a CPL. Those who grew up here or have lived here for a long time might take being able to carry a gun and able to defend themselves for granted, but let me tell you it is an impossible dream for many who are stuck living in CA. It can be quite a nightmare, leaving you vulnerable to all sorts of unsavvy types who know they can get away with robbing you along with giving you a beat down.

Here, I feel much safer, knowing that not only am I armed, there's also a high chance that my fellow citizens are armed too and thus discouraging criminals from the area.

I hope FL can push this through, they economic success and population boom should also be accompanied by advances in constitutional rights of its residents. At this rate, I might just retire there.

CA is getting set to vote on/enact SB2. That bill will make it illegal to carry nearly anywhere in the state as it makes so many areas "safe zones" or "sensitive".
