During Christmas last year I decided to get one of those grow light stand for starting flowers from seed, both as a new hobby and also to brighten up my property which has a lot of greens but no flowers. One of the seeds I started is English lavender (munstead), currently they're still in my plug tray (2 inch type) and have reached the height of between 1.5 to 2 inches.

Want to ask if I should start to harden and transplant them into the garden now or wait till they're larger?

Normally I would just experiment with the plants but lavender have a very low rate of germination and also slow growth rate so I don't want mess up if possible. Thanks.

I understand there is a thing called Master Gardeners.

Think plants… like we think about guns.

I have a few family that have friends that are Master Gardeners. Crazy stuff. If you call almost any retail that sell plants and ask if they have one… I’m sure they would love to answer that question in Detail. In Ways and length one can’t even imagine. Lol

my wife got 3 lavender plants about 4 years ago when we cleared out hedges in the front. They were decent size, not a small ones, so not sure on the hardiness of some that small.

If I remember right, plants grow to the pot size, so putting them in a bigger pot will hopefully make them grow faster. My wife just trimmed the plants, they were about the size of a standard beach ball. #AnythingButTheMetricSystem

Thanks, looks like a very interesting trip to take, hopefully they don't have pet restrictions like some places for the Tulip Festival (this year some places allow pets).
