They were only having around 20% of kickoffs returned.

It was sucking the wind out of the game.

All this build-up to kickoff…then booted into the end zone…nothing.

Come out of halftime, “here we go!!!…fizzle.

They took what worked fairly well last year in the XFL, and tweaked it.

There were some cool innovations by teams, like running parallel before turning upfield.

It was definitely more of a game than just kicking it out of the end zone 8 times.

I’m kind of liking the other changes, like they can review whether the clock expired before the snap, and review blatant things.

It used to be you would need a penalty to review something, and could only review the penalty.

Hopefully a few more ways to have the refs decide things.
