Luckily my leg broke the fall...
Got a nice slice to my finger, fixed up by super glue, and some scratches from my leg getting stuck between some boards, but otherwise OK. Still waiting for the adrenaline dump to wear off.
Went to go price 2x4s at the store...
FUCKING 7$ A PIECE. WTF happened to $1.68??!?!?? What used to be a 14 dollar piece of plywood is now pushing 50...

I saw how hard Old Growth works at that job. Lifting, moving, aligning, sawing, stacking, breathing sawdust. No thank you

I cooked steaks on the Recteq pellet smoker last night. At one point I wanted to change the temperature from a rock-steady 225 degrees to a rock-steady 275 degrees. Unfortunately, the grill wifi had failed to connect, so I had to actually walk outside and spin the dial. Fucking Neanderthal cooking method!
