Weather.

Another veteran lost the battle. When I got to work this morning we had a mandatory meeting (active, and us civilian vets), and since the chaplain was present I knew it had to be bad. I'm pretty new so I didn't personally know the guy, but it is a stark reminder that there are still people out there fighting evil. A reminder to all if you need help there are people/agencies available.

Street campers? How is that legal?
Funny, they're able to keep them from camping in front of Westlake at Christmastime, though. Isn't that the legal goo they spewed when letting the Ballard folks stay so long....that it was their home, so they couldn't evict them from their home? |

Was in Hollywood last December, sister wanted to get a picture of the sign. So many bum tents along Hollywood Boulevard sidewalks that it looked like REI was having a liquidation sale.
