Laura came home last night, so did our WA neighbors returning from MN after dropping their daughter off to college.
We stayed up to midnight and watched a glorious Milky Way dance above our heads as we toast Terry.
Amazingly, to fly terry back to WA state where she will be buried next to her husband Dean, AS only charges $690. I was sure it would be a lot more.
Next Tue we will be driving back to Maple Valley for her Friday funeral. Youngest is being flown in from Grand Junction.

I was supposed to close on my house on the 23rd, issues. I was supposed to close tomorrow (8/30), not ready/issues. Do a final walkthrough Monday and close sometime next week. Washer and dryer showing up 9/6.
Went to the range on post, Sunday to shoot some guns. Check fire due to fire dept. downrange to put out a fire not involving the Rod & Gun range. No shooting.

I'm not really pissed but didn't want to start a separate post for this.
Watching "Alone" day 72 Nathan AKA dumb ass from WA burns his shelter (with all his gear) down forcing him to tap out.

Idiots in Florida. Every year the news reports about people doing panic shopping for plywood/water/food/gas. I've lived on the east coast and August/September is hurricane season for thousands of years. What the eff did you do with the plywood from previous years? Wake up people!
