I'm always up at 530... Doesn't matter WHEN I go to bed... Today, I didn't open my eyes until 730, WTF. I feel like I have missed half the day!

Hurt to walk for about a week, and I think I'm going to lose the nail. Fast forward to yesterday morning, I got up to get ready for work and stubbed the damn thing into a chair leg with a loud popping crunch. It was dark, and I forgot I moved the chair after using it to change a lightbulb. Well now the whole toe is a lovely shade of purple, and it really hurts to wiggle it or walk. I taped it up yesterday and that helped. But today I can't even tape it without it hurting. It is amazing how much you don't realize what parts of your body you use until they hurt. That is a bitch, sounds painful. As I'm sure you know, not much they can do for a broken toe, BUT, pay attention to it. If it doesn't seen to be getting better, and it's hot to the touch, you could be developing an infection in the break, and a bone infection can be bad, as that can spread quickly... Yeah it still hurts. I've been keeping an eye on it. It has been a lovely shade of purple and yellow lately. golddigger14s wrote: It's amazing how that when you hurt your (insert body part here) that is the one thing you keep on banging into things for awhile. This is an understatement. When I walk around I feel like 12 inches away seems too close. I bought a pair of loafers to wear only inside the house. These seem to help with small bumps, and give piece of mind if anything else. But they don't protect against the dog stepping on it.

Seeing the federal tax withheld on my last paycheck. It's like the big raise I received didn't even happen. I might feel slightly better about it if I felt like Uncle Sam won't squander it, but we all know that's guaranteed.

Just found out that one of my fellow outfitters at Cabela's (Lacey) died of complication due to cystic fibrosis. Only about 30 years old. Also for those of you that remember a manager there that used one of those scooter units, and oxygen. He also died about one week after retiring back in June.

He helped me pick out an electric smoker that I use sometimes for Cerakote curing. He was a really nice guy.

First, you forgot Howard College (it may have been the first Black college) and Grambling used to have (still does?) awesome football/school marching band choreography.
But yeah, it's probably time to get past the black/white thing. Get used to being just 'Mericans.
