Last little test - thinking maybe there is something funky in the wires such that under load they don't work (it could happen). I disconnected the ECM/PCM and grounded the control lines for the injectors. When turning on the ignition the injectors fired reliably (well, 10 times I tried).
Really looking like ECM/PCM - anyone know if there is a place that will run diagnostics on a unit (that doesn't cost as much as a unit)? I really hate that you are having so much trouble with this. But if yer anything at all like me, there is some part inside you that is doing a happy jig, and thinking, "MAN!!! I am learning SO MUCH about this rig!!!"

+1, but the silver lining is that I have learned how to pay as little Use Tax as possible- sell out of state! The only time I have to pay use tax is when someone wants to transfer some firearm from out of state. No doubt, it won't be long before the blood suckers at DOR figure out a method to stick merchants for out of state sales.

I have a scanner I am looking to part with that works on older GM products so it may be of some help to you. If nothing else you may be able to activate components to test them - on most models you can ativate the fuel pump, injectors etc and see what all of the sensors are reading. A bad temp sensor can cause a no start on some of those for example. viewtopic.php?f=14&t=105742

Dunno if this truck is new enough for GM's Pass-Lock system but worth a check. Starts mid 90's. https://repairpal.com/gm-passlock-anti-theft-systemsAlso, any scanner worth a shit can test while cranking. Put the scanner on Data Stream and check for RPM while cranking....

Seems a bit of corrosion on the connectors/pins of ECM/PCM. Seat and reseat repeatedly and a bit of dielectric grease and we get a start. Not sure how stable but seems to be working now.

Death buy fucking power points! Anyone needs me, I’ll be curled up under my desk begging for it to stop.
First day I’ve actually stayed sitting at my desk in almost a month and a half. And I’m so behind on shit.

Wish I could take my wife's pain...
Wait, not sure I can handle mine...

Wait, not sure I can handle mine... Hang in there brother, it hurts but this too shall pass. Love the Pet, Love the Wife and be strong. Your Pet would not want to see you suffer, remember all the good and let the rest go. It's what your companion would want.

Wait, not sure I can handle mine... Ugh ... one of the worst times in life. I’m sorry. When the time is right, take a few minutes to tell us about your fur baby.
