More like sad, but my father in law died early this morning. Great guy, active, good shape for almost 80. Stage 4 lung cancer. Couple weeks from fine, to hospital, to gone.
Cancer sucks.

So I bought a 2015 Silverado when we were moving to Alabama. The dealerships down here suck. I had made an appointment to get the side airbags replaced because of a recall. I also wanted them to take a look at a couple other issues. There was a leak somewhere that ended up dripping on my rubber floor mat and making a puddle on the drivers side and the hvac would only come out of the defrost vents.

They had my truck for FOUR days and didn’t even LOOK at it! They tried telling me that they suspected a leaking heater core. The moron couldn’t even understand that if that were the case, it would be coolant on the floor, not water. And the heater core is on the passenger side, not the drivers. I told them when I dropped it off that I suspected that the dealer I bought it from had the window replaced and it didn’t get sealed properly. Guess who was right. For the hvac all I had to do was remove the blend door actuator, adjust the motor and get the blend doors repositioned and reset the system by pulling a fuse. I fixed the two issues that I could in ONE evening and these lazy F**ks couldn’t even take the time to look at it.

I’m wondering if I can have them just give me the airbags and install them myself at this point.

And this is why I usually don’t buy extended warranties, I always end up getting screwed.
