My Liberal, drug peddling freak of a boss accidentally sent me a text with his prices of various illicit products the other night. Due to the irrisponsible manner in which he runs his company, and the fact that he's coked out everytime he comes into work...I had long since suspected it, but just minded my own buisness to finish out the season and move on. I could no longer ignore it though, and started looking for different work.

I gave him 1 weeks notice on Monday, and told him that he needed to get me the title to an old beater pick-up that I payed cash for last week. He refused, and tried to use it as leverage to get me to agree to work for him for another 2 months.

I refused, and calmly insisted that he give me the title.

This son of a bitch CALLS 911, and tells them theres a man in his driveway with a gun, who has stolen his truck!

I immediately dumped all my hardware into the passengedr side of my van, locked it, and stood at the end of the driveway with my hands in plain sight. When they arrived, I was calm and collected, and after a brief description of events...showed the officers the text confirmation of payment for the truck.

He told them I hadnt paid anything, and he wanted them to arrest me on the spot. The officers attempted to explain to him that it was a civil matter, and when he continued to argue, he got told to shut his mouth and listen. The officer then explained to him that if I was so inclined...I could drive away at that moment with any one of the company vehicles, and they would do absolutely nothing about it.

If the situation werent so fucked up, the whole interaction would have been worthy of laughing as he made such a fool of himself.

I would of shown the cops that text.

Not till after he gets his final paycheck- THEN forward the SMS to the boss' local law enforcement agency, or DEA.

After receiving a notification that a package was delivered in my mailbox, I opened it expecting to find my new tool, but instead I found this:

What I DIDN'T find was the tool that I ordered...just an empty box where it would have been (which was incredibly filthy, by the way). I can't even believe USPS would deliver it in this condition. At least I bought it on eBay using PayPal, so if the seller gives me any grief about a replacement or a refund, PayPal will cover it, but it's still irritating.

Just thought of something.

When did the USPS get to be off the hook for something like this?

Why is the seller liable and have to replace it?

USPS used it as a football, and lost the tool. They should pay to replace it. Maybe itf they had to be responsible fiscally, more often, they'd start to be more responsible with the packages.

UPS and fed ex and the rest, as well.

IDIOT Reporters and Investigators.

Tired of hearing how this kid died in WSU 4 hours before 911 was called.

Sucks and Im truly sorry he passed but.....

ANY of these idiot reporters and/or investigators even attend college?

So its easy how this gap between the passing and 911 happened.

He passes at 4am...911 called at 8:30

So shit right?

WTFF?

Whats so hard to figure out?

I tell you, Common sense has truly left the frikken planet.

......And the family has to hear multiple times/hr how their kid passed away with foul play insinuated....that in itself is frikken cruel.

Swapped plates, no plates, expired plates, involving 3 suspicious vehicles and ONE driver... one of which has busted window and center console and glovebox open with their contents thrown on the floor. classic signs of being stolen.

PD says private property, can't do anything, gotta catch them on the road...

Manager says they don't wanna talk to me about it because I'm not their parking lot security... well no shit... not trying to be..

So they're endorsing illegal activity.

One more company not to do business with.

Meanwhile, fucking idiot is filming me all but yelling' worldstar' saying I'm going to go viral.. because asking someone if they have a minute to talk is 'harassment' and 'you don't have the right to talk to me'..

fuck this world. let it fucking burn.

My co-worker and my daily ride (he has a company vehicle; I do not thanks to shitty bid work) was pissy from the get go because he had to wait 20 minutes for me to come out of my trailer. Is it my fault that he is routinely there 15 to 20 minutes before we are supposed to leave? What is the big problem being to work 32 unpaid minutes before shift start rather than 52 minutes? 30 minutes early is plenty for me to get a jump on my day. And he is always the one bitching the most loudly about how fucked up our company is in the first damn place. Maybe this guy really does have Stockholm syndrome.

Personal weapons are what raised mankind out of the mud, and the rifle is the queen of personal weapons. The possession of a good rifle, as well as the skill to use it well, truly makes a man the monarch of all he surveys. It realizes the ancient dream of the Jovian thunderbolt, and as such it is the embodiment of personal power. For this reason it exercises a curious influence over the minds of most men, and in its best examples it constitutes an object of affection unmatched by any other inanimate object.

I loved it last night on the news when Tim asked/stated the obvious: "When Seattle/King County has a law pass they like, it's like, 'we have to honor it'. Why then when the entire state except for King Co./Seattle pass a law, 'we have to stop it'?"
