Download the drivers to the computer you are on, now. Transfer to a thumb drive. Sneakernet the thumbdrive to the other computer. What a dumbass. Sorry you have to deal with that, though. A very similar thing happened to me several years ago. I was driving my parents' crappy 1994 Suburban over in Bremerton. I was merging from the on-ramp into what was basically bumper-to-bumper freeway traffic. Some asshole in an Integra decided he needed to be ahead of me, because, you know, being behind me would have put him at his destination precisely 3 milliseconds later than he wanted. As I started to enter the lane, he gunned it and tried to go around me. He wound up bouncing off my fender and hitting another car in the adjacent lane. I literally laughed in his face for probably a solid minute, and when the officer showed up on scene, I happily took his insurance info and filed a claim, even though I couldn't have cared less about the (minor) damage. |
