Got a check and copy of the listing of the faucet model (printed off the internet) from client put it in my leather-bound book. Get in truck and go to supplier. Get out of truck with Leather bound Book. Grab cart. Go get a sink and head to the faucets. Open leather bound book to look at the model number....

No printed page! No CHECK!!!!! icon_eek

Search store, retracing my steps, out to the truck. Search truck. NOTHING!!!

Purchase sink with my own $$$ and race back to the client's house. Didn't leave it there (I knew I hadn't as I double checked for it in my book before I left.)

Pay $25 to have her stop payment on the check.

:blackcloud1:

I got the dementia, I tell you.

I just said to a buddy of mine yesterday when working on his F350.

Looking for that GD glow plug I just had in my hand.

If I had a dollar for every minute I waste daily looking for parts or tools or whatever....I frikken retire.

3 minute search and my Buddy says ...is it in your pocket?

Made the mistake of going to the NW overland rally or whatever it's called. Went with a friend so I didn't have to pay anything...

But, we cleared our vehicles ahead of time, we drive 2 hours to get there.... And they say we can't use any of the tracks or anything. Iotw, everyone can 'go offroad' except us, which leaves us to walk around for 10 minutes staring at mall rated jeeps and rusted out 4 runners... All the while getting 5 mpg on the trip there and back...

What. A. Fucking. Waste.

If I wanted to hear a cacophony of shitty air compressors, and watch people beg to borrow tools, I could have stayed 'home'.

Busted knees and broken ass (5 ton passenger seats).... What a waste of time..

Only good news, other than wasting 5 hours out of a day I needed to be working on stuff, is I didn't spend any money or burn any fuel.

Also, I'm not one to judge, but my God, it's like all these guys went to an Oprah taping and she was giving out UGLY, chicks.... You get an ugly chick... YOU get an ugly chick, EVERYONE GETS UGLY CHICKS!

About 10 years ago when this whole mall crawler trend really took off, my father was told he couldn't run one of the courses in his '67 CJ-5 because it was not properly equipped for "extreme trail readiness...." He politely explained it had been over the Rubicon Trail numerous times as well as being one of the first PNW4WDA rigs through what is now known as the Busywild Trail (Elbe Hills) and that received some blank stares. They allowed him to run their obstacle course ONCE, due to liability. He got a perfect score and hasn't been back since.

I took my FZJ80 there once and felt way out of place. Too many dents, not enough Specter Off Road swag I guess.....

They'd love Krunch

(When I finally get it going)

Was getting ready to go out metal detecting, and when I went to put my pants on I discovered one of my GD cats pissed on them. :angryfire:

Cat pee is the worst! I had a box of moving blankets that one of our cats was getting into and peeing in. I found out when I was doing yard work and set my hoodie on the box. Got done with the work and went to put the hoodie on and got a full blast of smell on my face. It took many washes for the hoodie to get clean. Moving blankets were a total loss. Litter box was cleaned daily, so I feel your pain.

We had a cat that used to piss on the wife's purses, all over a costco size box of envelopes, on my leather jacket, and probably a bunch of other stuff we never found out about.

Vaping. Vape-ers are a sanctimonious bunch who get indignant if you find fault or irritation with their habit/addiction.

Nasty smelling coconutymangofritypebblesbubblegum-ish shite mixed with halitosis. "Oh there's nothing unhealthy about it!" they'll insist... except the nausea from smelling the stank and the sore throat from the chemicals...

yeah right. That what they said about heroin in all the tonics at the turn of the last century, and tobacco...and having a few snorts of alcohol during pregnancy...and, well, COMMUNISM.

Same assurances as what the priest told me behind the confessional... relax jim this is good for the sou....er hmm never mind.... that's a different story....

anyway. Fuck vaping.
