WA Disability Determination services.
So, I get a 15 min. doctors appointment to 'test my memory'.. Where I draw a couple shapes.
Then I get another 20 min doctors appointment for a 'physical', where the doc can't find my chart, called me by the wrong name NUMEROUS times, and read info off of that person's chart (HIPAA violation much?), doesn't know what to test for, and did a general physical, but didn't check any of my problems. Wouldn't even check my back or knee because, according to him , 'social security doesn't allow us to ask patients to remove clothes'...... What the ever fucking fuck?
apparently that's enough to make a determination?
WTF?!
I bet you can guess what they decided.
I gotta comb back through some threads to find the attorney suggestions.

TW, when I had an on the job back injury a handful of years ago, it put my dick in the dirt. Shortly after my family doc released for work, the state had me go to one of those IME docs to be "cleared" by the state. Was a (that month) empty office buikding, random dr, and one of the weirdest appointments/experiences of my life. I was good to go and had nothing to hide or prove, so it didnt bother me too much. Dude was there to literally say I could work 100% and "close" my injury case. Super strange. I know its zero help, but my own anecdote while doesnt carry the same implications, I can understand the shotty and pathetic attempts by the .gov for services by those that play by the rules. Sorry to hear man.

Effing California DOJ (CFLC) rules for shipping a firearm to a CA based FFL. It's a secret squirrel system where you have to register for yet another website (of course), then get the FFL's CFLC number, enter it into the special website and wait for it to generate a letter giving you permission to ship to CA. What a disaster. While it sounds simple enough- getting registered took 3 days of back and forth with these idiots in CA DOJ.

Read today that a bunch of aid trucks were turned away at the border and then burned.
