That, and ANOTHER led bulb burned out on me.... strange that it turned brown at the base and smelled just like the old 100weq clf bulbs when they burned out..... annoying that I only bought 6 led bulbs ~3-4 years ago and 4 have already burned out, yet all the cfls I have around --- I can't remember the last time one burned out. Some LED's are junk, just like a LOT of CFL's. Pure Chinese schmegma. I have two buckets full of ded CFL's - environmental hoax/disaster. The outdoor rated LED's are nice, no issues and for shops and garages the folding wing "100W" units are absolutely awesome. From a single overhead ceramic bulb holder just a shit ton of bright light. Finally, someone has one of those wing units. In your opinion, is it bright enough to take the place of two 4ft fluorescent lights?

Great for working on stuff. I did NOT want to run new electrics and string fluorescent fixtures, since our time is done in this house next year. (Heck I may screw in some cheapies before we sell the joint) Now I will say the light is blue-white and harsh if you are trying to wine and dine, watch the superbowling arm hockey tournament whilst showing your sexy bod off to the neighbor chick, but for working on stuff, great.

Good lights, watch for specials, but frankly like any of that Chinese stuff I am sure there are bad versions and good versions. I have two more fixtures to fill, those sets should be here Friday. I will snap some pics. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08 ... UTF8&psc=1

There are 3 standard LED colors used for lighting. Cool white, neutral white, and warm white. Cool white is the whitish blue you see, and can be pretty harsh. Usually 6000K-7000Kish Neutral white (my favorite) is the white light you see with virtually no yellowish tint at all. Think factory HID. Bright white, no blue, no yellow..usually around 4300K-5000Kish Warm white, usually around 2800-3500K, the warm light you remember from old school incandescent bulbs.. Attachment: warm-white-vs-natural-white-vs-cool-white-led-lights.jpg Cool lighting creates a high contrast environment, so it's great above a garage bench, or areas involving 'work', ie a kitchen countertop (but NOT for the entire kitchen), above a bathroom vanity/mirror (but not for the entire bathroom) or at a workbench where you're working on stuff. Cool lighting can strain eyes so it's not great for use as general lighting. Neutral lighting is great, provides excellent fill without the harshness of cool lighting, and brighter than warm lighting. Use everywhere. Warm lighting, use in environments where you want the old school incandescent look, or areas where you want to relax.Bedrooms are great areas to use warm lighting.

Any to stay away from?

That I cannot answer, let me get my 2 each 4 wingers I linked above and I will let you know. Those in the picture I bought last year and of course can't find the brand anymore.

Two fucking hours at Sportsman's Warehouse in Puyallup to fill out a 4473 on a pistol I ordered online.
Only 2 guys working the counter and 5 customers in front of me in line. There were at least 3 other "associates" milling about, but apparently they were tasked with other duties because not one of them jumped in to help.
And they don't release after 10 business days, which sucks, but it was the only local store that even had what I wanted available at a normal-ish price.
God I hope shit gets back to normal after the election...
