I didn't think too much about the cigarette fire danger, until we visited a friend in TX. Wife and I used to smoke outside, so were out on the friends front porch in an upscale suburb of Dallas. Pushed the butts into a 3' tall planter by the front door to put them out. Next day before we left, I put one out and burned my finger! WTF??? Peeled back some bark and there was a burning ember the size of a volleyball inside. Took a couple quarts of water to put it out.

I have 0-4 cigarettes per month. If I see one of my clients employees having one, I bum one and then give them a dollar for it.

I have been asked by the NCO in charge of the ROTC program to stop correcting "his" cadets. His tone changed once he found out that I out rank him. He was not in the correct uniform when he was berating me either. That was a fun day... The ROTC program is Washington is hanging by a thread... So, they don't want to go too hard on the cadets... Reality is going to be a motherfucker for these kids. The FUCK?! I commissioned through UW, we did not put up with uniform violations when I was there. I didn't look back after I left there, but some of the LTs coming after me have been sub-par.

We're the lucky ones on taxes - with income as small as ours, they withhold nothing and we owe nothing! So why post this tiding of comfort and joy in the Pissed thread? To give some otherwise happy fuckers who just read (and don't post in) this thread something to be pissed about! You're welcome.

getting official notice tomorrow at work that my org will be impacted by a surplus. It happens and is part of the mega corporate world and we've known it was coming (rather anyone with common sense has known) but we won't know our personal status until 5/13. So time to twist in the wind for a month
